Do you know Jack o lantern? Jack o lantern is a monster of a pumpkin. Like a picture. It is decorated in Halloween.

I introduce how to make Jack o lantern.
You have to Prepare Pumpkin (orange and big), scoop, carving knife and candle. It is easy to prepare these by internet.

How to make is as follows. (reference)
First, Cut off the calyx of the pumpkin.

Second, Scoop out the inside and seeds.
Third, Wash pumpkin well.
Fourth, Make with holes for eyes, nose and mouth.
Fifth, Wash again and dry.
Sixth, Put the candle into the pumpkin.

Regata Storica

There are many festivals in Europe.
I introduce Regata Storica.
It is hold on the first Sunday in September in Venezia. Many people all over the world visit. It is the most beautiful and biggest in Venezia. It is divided into first and second halves.

The first half, beautiful gondola take people who wear antique clothes and parade from San Marco Bay to Canal Grande.

The second half, people compete with gondola. It is divided group into variety of boat, number of people and sex. For example, Pupparin is two boys, Mascareta is two women, Caorlina is six people, Gondolino is two people and so.

It result from welcoming Venezia’s Queen (Katerina) in 1489.

MOVIE

I saw ENCHANTED with my friends. It is said “Mahounikakerarete” in Japanese. It is Disney movie. Type is a fairy tale, musical comedy.

Giselle lives in magic land. One day, she encounters Prince Edward and wedding has been arranged with him. But Queen Narissa opposes that their marriage and banishes her to another world. It is New York. And she changed realistic figure. New York is the very opposite of magic land, so she gets into a panic. She encounters with Robert. He is a lawyer and realistic man. He has a child but does not have wife. He can’t leave her. They begin to live together. She explains her land to him but he does not believe her story. Soon, Edward pursued her to New York and look for her. But it is not easy for them to meet again. Meanwhile, Narissa pursued, too. She tries to kill Giselle. She tries to use poisoned apple. Giselle can meet Edward, but her feeling is little change. She eats poisoned apple and fall. Edward kisses her, but she doesn’t open her eyes. She can open her eyes with Robert’s kiss. So Giselle and Robert fall in love. Only they pretend not to notice that own feeling. They get married. It is happy end.

This movie is very fun. Giselle is pretty and sing is well. She seems really princes. Singing with animals seen is very cute. Usually, end is to get marry with prince, but this movie is different. I like this movie’s end. If you watch this movie, you begin to feel happy.
